 Categories of Membership

Childwall Golf Club provides the following categories of membership:

7 Day Membership;
6 Day Membership (Sunday to Friday);
5 Day Membership (Monday to Friday);
Intermediate Membership (ages 18 to 23);
Junior Membership (ages 12 to 17);
Family Membership (up to age 11).

At the present time 7 Day Memberships is full.  An applicant wishing to join as a 7 Day Member, if interviewed, may be offered 5 or 6 Day Membership on the basis that they will have the option of converting to 7 Day Membership as and when this category of membership becomes available. All prospective new playing members need to have a proposer and seconder, both of whom should be full members of the Club. Alternatively, if you are moving into the area and don’t know any members a letter of introduction from your current Club will be required as a minimum.  Membership interviews are usually held quarterly, in January, April, July and October.

The Equality Act 2010 allows for ‘positive action’ to be taken to encourage membership in under-represented groups. The Club's Council has agreed that it is in the best interests of the Club to encourage more Ladies to join. Therefore, Provisional Membership and a reduced entrance fee are available to Ladies. A Provisional Membership package is for ladies who are new to golf. This is a 6 month package which includes tuition with the Pro and access to the course with supervision from a member. At the end of the 6 month period the provisional member can submit an application for full membership.

Further information and a Membership application form, together with details of the current subscriptions and joining fees may be accessed by clicking here.
