Childwall Golf Club, set in the Liverpool suburbs in close proximately to the major motorway M62/M57 junctions, is a stunning parkland golf course boasting some of the best greens and fairways in the North West of England. An interesting golf course with a good variety of holes including 4 par 3’s and 4 par 5’s, all in all a good test for golfers of all standards.
The course was established in 1912 designed by James Braid and measures 6227 yards from the yellow tees, whilst Childwall is not a tough walk, in fact quite flat, we do have a limited number of Buggies available for hire.
We are proud to host an annual World Amateur Golf Ranking Event, the Childwall Trophy. We hosted the Four Counties Junior Tournament in April 2016 following on from the very successful England Golf Northern Boys Championship held in 2012. In 2019 we hosted both Lancashire Men’s and Ladies team matches. In 2021 we were hosts to the Lancashire County Championship.
The Clubhouse is extremely attractive, the club lounge and surrounding areas have recently gone through a major refurbishment completed November 2018, our caterer serves excellent food and has a friendly hospitable atmosphere. We cater from a simple 4 ball up to parties of 120 people, and welcome your enquiries to provide a tailor made individual package to suit your golfing and dining requirements.
Taking in the new lounge and facilities coupled with a beautiful terrace with the stunning views from the clubhouse over the course the 19th hole the whole experience is stunning at Childwall GC.
